The 5 ton excavator is an extremely popular machine being used in a wide range of sectors due to its versatility and balance of power and size. We have recently began purchasing Komatsu PC55’s as well as Takeuchi machines. This range again enables us to offer normal and zero tail swing excavators. We stock the following machines:

Komatsu PC55

The new PC55MR-3 compact mini-excavator is the result of the competence and technology that Komatsu has acquired over the past 80 years. It was designed and developed with constant attention to the needs of customers from all over the world.

The end product is a user-friendly machine with top-class performance. We have just taken delivery of 20 of these machines early on in 2015 and have more scheduled to arrive throughout the year.

Takeuchi TB250

The TB250 compact mini excavator brings operators the most comfortable operation and powerful digging performance.

Performing with massive bucket breakout force the new Takeuchi’s comfortably work well above expectations in their weight class.

Designed for maximum operator comfort and easy operation, all the new styled Takeuchi’s have roomier cabs, adjustable seating and foot room, alongside well positioned controls and maximum 360° visibility.

Takeuchi TB153FR

Takeuchi introduced the FR series of reduced tail swing excavators to meet the growing demands for compact operation especially where restricted access limits the size of the machine.

Takeuchi now offer mini excavators with a massively reduced tail swing. The cab only exceeds the footprint of the tracks by centimetres, allowing operators to work and rotate right up to walls without potentially damaging the cab.

The FR series is a popular choice, giving more flexibility no matter what the site restrictions.
