3 Ton Excavator Range

We have a number of different excavators in the 3 ton excavator ‘range’ which have various benefits for different jobs. With the ability to still be transported on a trailer but with more power than smaller machines. With some of the machines also benefiting from being zero tail swing. Another advantage of this slightly larger machine is that they are all cabbed machines which ensures operators are protected from the elements. We have the following machines available:

Takeuchi TB125

Takeuchi TB228

The TB228 compact mini excavator brings operators the most comfortable operation and powerful digging performance. Weighing in at 2900kg the latest Takeuchi mini excavators offers massive operating capacity in a compact sized excavator even in the toughest, tightest working conditions.

Performing with massive bucket breakout force the new Takeuchi’s comfortably work well above expectations in their weight class. Takeuchi TB23R

Near zero tailswing is what makes the TB23R the ideal machine when you’re really up against it. Weighing in at 2600kg (Cab) and 2415kg (Canopy) it’s a mid sized machine capable of offset dig functions to left and right and in a variety of situations.

Featuring either a comfortable cab or TOPS/FOPS canopy, two speed travel, a low noise EPA emission compliant engine and all the other features you’d expect in a Takeuchi excavator, the TB23R embodies the perfect combination of what today’s contractors want – reliability and operator comfort.

Volvo ECR28

Make long working days easier. Try out the Volvo ECR28. Short swing radius excavators with a real difference. They turn within the width of their own tracks – ideal for tight job-sites.

The ECR28 has a short swing radius so the counterweight turns within the track width. You can work in confined spaces, eliminating the risk of hitting a wall or obstacle. An obvious result is enhanced safety on congested jobsites.
